FREEZING RAIN WARNING IN EFFECT FOR:

  • URANIUM CITY - CAMSELL PORTAGE

FREEZING RAIN IS FORECAST TO BEGIN IN THE LA LOCHE AND URANIUM CITY REGIONS LATE THIS EVENING AND PUSH INTO THE KEY LAKE AND STONY RAPIDS REGIONS OVERNIGHT.

FREEZING RAIN WILL TRANSITION TO FLURRIES OR FREEZING DRIZZLE FRIDAY MORNING.

TAKE EXTRA CARE WHEN WALKING OR DRIVING IN AFFECTED AREAS. PUBLIC SAFETY CANADA ENCOURAGES EVERYONE TO MAKE AN EMERGENCY PLAN AND GET AN EMERGENCY KIT WITH DRINKING WATER, FOOD, MEDICINE, A FIRST-AID KIT AND A FLASHLIGHT.

FREEZING RAIN WARNINGS ARE ISSUED WHEN RAIN FALLING IN SUB-ZERO TEMPERATURES CREATES ICE BUILD-UP AND ICY SURFACES.
