FREEZING RAIN WARNING IN EFFECT FOR:

  • NEW LISKEARD - TEMAGAMI

FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED OR OCCURRING.

A PERIOD OF FREEZING RAIN ON TAP OVERNIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING.

FREEZING RAIN IS EXPECTED TO ARRIVE OVERNIGHT AS A LARGE WEATHER SYSTEM APPROACHES FROM THE WEST. THE FREEZING RAIN WILL CHANGE OVER TO PLAIN RAIN LATER TUESDAY MORNING AS TEMPERATURES RISE ABOVE THE ZERO DEGREE MARK.

TRAVELLING CONDITIONS WILL DETERIORATE AFTER THE FREEZING RAIN ARRIVES. MOTORISTS AND PEDESTRIANS SHOULD EXERCISE CAUTION.

SURFACES SUCH AS HIGHWAYS, ROADS, WALKWAYS AND PARKING LOTS MAY BECOME ICY AND SLIPPERY. BE PREPARED TO ADJUST YOUR DRIVING WITH CHANGING ROAD CONDITIONS.

FREEZING RAIN WARNINGS ARE ISSUED WHEN RAIN FALLING IN SUB-ZERO TEMPERATURES CREATES ICE BUILD-UP AND ICY SURFACES.
